Michael J. Sweeney
Prior to attending law school, Attorney Sweeney was a residential mortgage loan originator in New York and New Jersey. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College and Quinnipiac University School of Law. Mike has been practicing in the areas of real estate, probate administration, trusts & estates, and business transactions since 1998. At present, he is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut, in both the state and federal courts.
Attorney Sweeney has been a panelist for the American Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education Seminar on “Real Estate Financing Strategies.” He has also served as the New Realtor Orientation Speaker for Legal Agreements for the Midd-Shore Board of Realtors since 2002 and its successor, New Haven Middlesex Realtors. Mike has presented the following continuing education courses and specialty luncheon discussions for the Board of Realtors: “Listing and Buying Property in Probate”, “Short Sales: How the Mortgage Implosion has Changed the Way We Do Business”, “Home Inspection Risk Reduction”, and “The ABCs of Title Searching.”
